Stuck in Middle Art

I received my B.S. in Art Education from Southern Connecticut State University and am certified to teach art in Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York (PreK–12).

This year marks my 14th year teaching art! I began my career working with PreK–8 students for four years, before transitioning to focus on middle school grades 6–8, where I’ve truly found my calling. I believe the middle years are such a pivotal time for students to explore creativity, discover confidence, and learn how art connects to the world around them.
